Family (6+): Monday-Wednesday 5:15-6:00 pm
Homeschool: Monday 2:00-3:30 pm; Tuesday 10:00-11:30 am
INTRODUCTORY SPECIAL
Try out our karate school by doing our introductory special! We are offering 8 classes and a karate uniform for $69.00. This is a great way to try out something new without a lot of expenses. Check our schedule to find the right class for you!
A Community
At the Family Karate Center, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and friendly environment where students can become highly skilled in karate and self-defense. Our value-priced karate school serves students by not only teaching physical martial art skills but also teaching self-esteem and life skills. We want our students to be champions in life! The focus of this program is to provide all the students with the highest quality martial arts instruction available, in a safe and positive learning environment that people of all ages can enjoy.
Community for the Whole Family
The Family Karate Center is a multi-generational facility, teaching students ranging from 3-71 years of age. The Family Karate Center helps students, with the excellent student instructor ratio and the state of the art training facility, reach their individual goals both physically and mentally. The Family Karate Center offers a wide variety of classes from three years old up, as well as small group seminars focusing on both women’s personal protection and Bully Prevention.
Our Location
We are located at 577 River Road in a 5300 square foot building. Parking and the entrance is on the backside of the building.
Our Instructors
Elida Wagner Stewart Shihan
Sensei Elida is the owner & chief instructor at the Family Karate Center. She has a 6th degree black belt in Shudokan Karate-do & has been teaching karate for over 30 years.
Jeff Wagner
Sensei Elida’s brother is a third degree black belt. He has been teaching more than 12 years. Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Eugene Bible College.
